A little help,
when you need it.
Questions, ideas, or something not working?
A human reads every message.
For a health concern, contact your provider. This inbox is not an emergency or clinical service.
Getting settled
How do I start?
Add your due date if you are expecting, or your baby’s birthday if they have arrived. Your plan follows that date. You can update the profile later as life changes.
Can I choose English or Spanish?
Open Settings and use the language picker at the bottom. The app interface can use English or Spanish; the content and schedules continue to follow U.S. guidance.
Where do I find help inside the app?
Each main area has an introduction. You can revisit tutorials in Settings when you want a refresher.
Free features & GYST Baby Unlock
What stays free?
Everyday planning, visits, checklists, form-based logging, timers, on-screen reports and CSV data export stay free. You can always view and export information you have already saved.
What does Unlock include?
One optional purchase unlocks one-tap logging, saved symptom check-ins, the full name finder, and sharing or printing reports. You can first try 50 one-tap logs, 7 saved symptom check-ins, 50 new name choices and 2 shared or printed reports. Mood check-ins remain free. The App Store shows the current price.
Do I lose my entries when a preview ends?
No. What you have saved stays yours. Log tiles open the normal form after the one-tap preview ends. Reports still show on screen, and CSV export remains available.
I bought the app before 2.0. Do I pay again?
Eligible previous purchasers already have Unlock. Open Restore Purchases using the Apple Account that bought GYST Baby. If it is not found, email us so we can help.
Is Apple Family Sharing the same as GYST Family?
No. Apple Family Sharing can share an eligible purchase within your Apple family when enabled for that product. Collaborative GYST Family plans are a separate feature under testing; they are not part of the public 2.0 feature promise.
Reminders & everyday logging
My reminders are not arriving.
First check your device Settings → Notifications → GYST Baby. Then open Reminder settings in GYST, check the relevant category and the routine’s own switch, time and days. Focus and device notification settings can also affect delivery.
Can I choose what appears on the Lock Screen?
Yes. Use the Lock Screen privacy control in Reminder settings to hide reminder names and notes. Individual routine schedules are stored on that device.
Does clearing the inbox complete a task or record a dose?
No. Clear and Clear all dismiss the notices you see. They do not complete tasks, record medication or turn off future schedules.
Are reminders medical instructions?
No. Set routines according to your own needs and your provider’s advice. GYST does not infer a clinical schedule or replace medical care.
Reports & your information
How do I prepare a report?
Open GYST Log, then Trends & Reports. Choose your range and review what is included. Prepare a visit summary for questions and context, or share a Log report. PDF/text sharing and printing have a free preview through Unlock; CSV export stays free.
Where is my data stored?
Personal data is stored on your device and, when available, in your private iCloud database for your own devices. There is no separate GYST account. Optional shared features and the published wish list have separate handling; read the Privacy Policy for the complete details.
Who can see a published baby-shower wish list?
Anyone who has its link may be able to open it; use the optional password if you want another barrier. The guest page is excluded from search indexing. Take it down in GYST when you no longer want it available; deleting the app alone does not unpublish it.
How do I erase my data?
Use Erase all data in Settings and read the confirmation carefully. Published or shared copies may need to be withdrawn first while connected. Review the Privacy Policy for deletion, retained copies and sharing limitations. This action cannot be undone.
